YORK-The owners of Mobjack Bay Coffee Roasters and Little York Confectionary are adding a new historic tour to their lineup this summer.
Earlier this spring, Celeste Gucanac, co-owner of the establishments, both located on Main Street in Historic Yorktown, first announced that they would be expanding their historic tour and event offerings with the addition of Historic Steamer Wagon Tours. The tours were expected to start at the end of June but have been slightly delayed.
Visitors will soon be able to experience Yorktown Village and the Colonial National Historical Park in a unique way in an historic steamer wagon. Available tours with the steamer wagon will include guided tours, ride along tours, class rides, and private tours.
Mobjack Bay Coffee Roasters first opened in the restored Historic Cole Diggs House on Main Street in 2018. Their newest business, Little York Confectionery candy shop, opened in May 2023 next door in the Somerwell House at 401 Main St.
As part of the business, Mobjack Bay Coffee Roasters also offers various historic walking tours throughout Yorktown and Colonial National Historical Park, including ghost tours. Mobjack’s historian is the only one in the area certified to give tours within The Colonial National Historical Park.
