Brandy Centolanza

Editor

Brandy is co-founder and editor of the Peninsula Chronicle. A journalist for more than 20 years, Brandy won several Virginia Press Association awards for her coverage of the education and courts and crime beats for the Virginia Gazette. Now a freelance writer and editor, she looks forward to sharing business news and stories with the readers of Peninsula Chronicle. Brandy and her family have called James City County home since 2002.

Barrett Baker

Senior Reporter

Barrett is an award-winning writer with more than 40 years of professional experience in journalism, public relations, marketing, and advertising, including 20 years as a freelance content specialist. As Senior Reporter for the Peninsula Chronicle, his efforts will be focused on the southern end of the Peninsula, primarily reporting on stories from Newport News and Hampton.

Bob Flynn

Bob is a former sportswriter, editor and page designer who spent more than 30 years in the newspaper profession, including five at the Daily Press and 17 at the Richmond Times-Dispatch. He and his wife have lived in Gloucester for 27 years. They have one son, one daughter and a daughter-in-law. He enjoys watching (and playing) just about all sports, but spends much of his free time cycling

Jen has enjoyed working as a freelance journalist for two decades. She comes from a background in local print and electronic publication. Jen has lived and worked in the Historic Triangle since 2000 and enjoys covering local news on the Peninsula.

Susan Corbett is a former senior writer for the Miami Herald and the author of multiple books including The Insider's Guide to Williamsburg. She is also a contributor to People magazine. She lives in Williamsburg, where she roots for the Tribe.
