Commonwealth Catholic Charities Hosting Employment And Resource Fair June 29

NEWPORT NEWS-Commonwealth Catholic Charities will host an employment and resource fair on Thursday, June 29. The event will take place from 10:30am to 2:30pm at Brittingham-Midtown Community Center, 570 McLawhorne Dr. in Newport News.

Among those participating in the job fair are:City of Newport News, public works and human resources departments; Howmet; Versability Resources; Bright Star Care; PeopleShare; Newport News Juvenile Services; Craft and Technical Solutions, LLC; Department of Corrections; Hampton Roads Department of Sanitation; and others. Job opportunities include entry level and professional positions. Interested individuals are asked to bring copies of their resume.

Also in attendance providing resources will be United Way and The Hampton Roads Workforce Council, in addition to Commonwealth Catholic Charities.
