NEWPORT NEWS—The Virginia Peninsula Chamber of Commerce invites the public to join them in celebrating the opening of a new American Addiction Treatment Center (AATC) in Newport News on Thursday, April 21 from 5pm to 7pm. The new center is located at 606 Denbigh Blvd. in Newport News. The event is open to both chamber members and non-members at no charge.

AATC’s parent company, Pinnacle Treatment Centers, acquired four outpatient facilities in Pennsylvania in 2006. Today, they have more than 115 locations in eight states across the country, including California, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Georgia, and Virginia. This will be their second Newport News location.

Pinnacle Treatment Centers are one of the nation’s leading providers of treatment for alcohol and substance abuse. Their programs include medically monitored detoxification, residential treatment, intensive in-patient treatment, partial hospitalization treatment, and out-patient treatment. They also offer medication-assisted treatment across all levels of care.

Their philosophy is to heal the mind, body, and spirit through a collaborative combination of data-driven, evidence-based techniques including individual therapy, group therapy, addiction counseling, peer support, and education on the importance of diet and exercise.
