When It Comes To Home Design, Many Still Prefer Standard Over “Smart”

NEWPORT NEWS – While people may want their phones to be smart, they don’t want their appliances to be smart. This is one of the findings that Ferguson Enterprises discovered in a recent consumer survey about home renovation and upgrade preferences.

The survey asked more than 1,000 people about their preferences in kitchen and bath designs. Nearly 70 percent of consumers prefer standard, analog appliances not connected to a smart home hub system. Many stated the expense of a smart system as to why standard appliances are preferred.
