JAMES CITY-The Habitat for Humanity Peninsula and Greater Williamsburg will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony of the first-ever completed 3D printed Habitat house in the country on Tuesday, December 21. Community members can watch the event on Facebook live beginning at 10:30am.
Habitat for Humanity Peninsula and Greater Williamsburg constructed the house in collaboration with Alquist, a 3D-printing home construction company. The new house is located at 129 Forest Heights Road.
Construction for the home first began in July. April Stringfield and her 13-year-old son will occupy the home. To watch the ribbon-cutting ceremony, click here.
