Precarious Beer Hall In Williamsburg Expanding Operations

WILLIAMSBURG-Precarious Beer Hall, a popular brewery located at 110 S. Henry St. in downtown Williamsburg, is expanding its operations.

On January 21, it was announced that Precarious Beer Hall leased an additional 3,700 square feet of adjacent space within the building where the establishment currently operates. The space is the site of the former J. Fenton Gallery, which relocated to Duke of Gloucester Street in 2021.

“Our plan is to blend that space into the existing beer hall tasting room, to give us more room for the brewery production floor,” said Andrew Voss, co-founder of Against The Grain Hospitality, which owns and operates Amber Ox Public House, Precarious Beer Project, and The Bake Shop. “We are growing rapidly and need space for more beer.”

In addition to expanding its facility, Precarious Beer Hall also has plans to expand its menu options in the spring of 2022.

“We are adding an additional food concept to the tasting room, to compliment Electric Circus Taco Bar,” said Voss.

Voss did not specify what the new food offerings would be, though he said, “Customers can expect a vibrant, reimagined Precarious Beer Hall tasting room with another very tasty food option, to compliment the already delicious beer. We are aiming for a late March unveiling.”

Precarious Beer Hall will remain open throughout the project expansion with “intermittent interruptions in service due to the construction,” Voss said. “Updates will be posted on our social medial channels as the project progresses.”
