WILLIAMSBURG – New construction in Colonial Williamsburg is not an everyday occurrence, especially not big, multi-story structures, but it’s happening: The city has approved a site plan for construction of the 40,000-square-foot Campbell Archaeology Center at 400 S. Nassau St.
The new center, named for former Colonial Williamsburg President Colin Campbell and his wife, Nancy, will be built in the parking lot on South Nassau Street directly across from the Abby Aldrich Folklife Museum and Bicentennial Park.
