WILLIAMSBURG-Victoria Cimino, CEO of Visit Williamsburg, was recently honored by Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI) as one of the “The HSMAI Top 25: Extraordinary Minds In Hospitality Sales, Marketing, Revenue Optimization” for 2021.

Cimino was among those who received the distinction based on many factors including creativity and innovation; cutting edge sales or marketing campaigns; triumph in challenging situations; and/or sales efforts that resulted in dramatic gains. She earned the recognition based in part on efforts made to strengthen tourism throughout the covid-19 pandemic.

In addition, Visit Williamsburg’s “Life. At Your Pace.” television advertising campaign has been awarded a 2021 Silver HSMAI Adrian Award, which recognizes excellence in advertising, public relations, and digital marketing.

“I’m grateful and flattered to be acknowledged alongside this impressive group of individuals,” said Cimino in a release issued March 9. “This honor is especially meaningful, not only to me, but to the entire Visit Williamsburg team, who every day make it their mission to execute forward-thinking hospitality marketing initiatives that boldly showcase Williamsburg’s unique offerings.”
