YORK-York County is seeking input from community members about the future of the Water Street area. Citizens will have the opportunity to offer their feedback regarding the Water Street Area Master Plan during the Christmas Market on Main event on Saturday, December 3. A booth with information will be set up at the event.

The county has contracted with the consulting group Hill Studio to develop a master plan for the portion of Water Street located between Yorktown Pub and Yorktown Beach Hotel.  Representatives from Hill Studio will be at the market to offer information and seek input about the area. Feedback is welcome with regards to landscaping, parking, public access, trash removal, and more.

The tent will be located at the intersection of Church and Main streets. Those who wish to offer their thoughts on the master plan but will be unable to attend the event on December 3 can send an email to the county at planning@yorkcounty.gov.
