GLOUCESTER – A small shopping center, approximately 9,000 square feet with three tenants, is planned for the lot adjacent to the McDonald’s on George Washington Memorial Highway in central Gloucester County. A bank used to sit on the lot, which is in front of the Hampton Inn and Comfort Inn.

David Machupa, who is with Cushman & Wakefield/Thalhimer, couldn’t get into specifics other than to say one tenant will be a restaurant and another a medical service. All three tenants are national companies.

“It’s been leased,” he said. “This project has been in the works for a couple of years now.”

He said he should be able to release more information before the end of June.
