HAMPTON-The Junior League of Hampton Roads will host the annual Tour of Trucks event on Sunday, April 10, at Langley Speedway, 3165 N. Armistead Ave.
The family-friendly event, now in its 10th year, attracts hundreds of people who want to get up close and personal with a variety of vehicles, including trucks, racecars, heavy equipment, emergency vehicles, construction vehicles, and other massive mobile machines.
“Ticket holders can expect a fun-filled Sunday exploring and interacting with the men and women who serve, protect, and entertain our local Hampton Roads community,” said Kelley Giannotti, vice president of communications for The Junior League of Hampton Roads. “This year, we will be adding racecars from Langley Speedway to the event as well as an Easter Egg Hunt and egg drop activity with NASA Langley.”
Tour of Trucks is the largest fundraising event for The Junior League of Hampton Roads, an organization of women dedicated to giving back to their community. In addition to the Tour of Trucks event, the organization will also host a “Do Good With Chipotle” event at the Chipotle restaurant in Patrick Henry Mall in Newport News on April 20.
Tour of Trucks will be held from 10am to 3pm on April 10. For ticket information, visit the event’s website.
