NEWPORT NEWS-Locals looking for a unique shopping experience are invited to join Historic Hilton Village merchants and vendors for a night of fun under the strawberry full moon from 6pm to 9pm on Saturday, June 3. The market will take place along the 10300 block of Warwick Boulevard in the area’s merchants district.

Guests can look forward to vendor offerings such as energy healing, massage, permanent jewelry, as well as handcrafted candles, art, and traditional jewelry, while many of the area’s local merchants will be open for business during the festival, including Mother Magnolia Plant Company and Styx & Stones gift shop.

Ashley Green, owner of Mother Magnolia Plant Company, is hosting the event.

“This is our third moon market to be held so far, so we’re kind of hitting our stride with it,” said Green. “We’ve been trying to switch up our vendors at every full moon market to provide a good assortment for guests.”

Spark Studio Permanent Jewelry will be on site selling clasp-free jewelry that’s welded together around the wrist or ankle, offering shoppers the chance to carry memories with them wherever they venture.
