NEWPORT NEWS—The Peninsula Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (PSPCA) is currently selling 50/50 raffle tickets as a fundraiser for the shelter. The raffle, which began in 2021, was started as a virtual fundraiser to keep money coming into the shelter during the pandemic. The raffle has become a community favorite, providing much needed funds to the animals at the shelter and programs of the Peninsula SPCA.

“This fundraiser gives us a unique way to say thank you to a supporter of the Peninsula SPCA,” said Jessica Geary, marketing and community relations manager for the PSPCA, in a press release. “All funds raised will be split 50/50, so it’s a win/win.”
