Hampton Sheriff’s Office Seeking Deputies

HAMPTON-The Hampton Sheriff’s Office will host a recruitment fair on Saturday, May 19 at the Circuit Court Building, 237 N. King St. Registration for the event will be held from 8am to 9am.

The sheriff’s office is looking to fill deputy positions and other roles. Interviews will be conducted on-site during the fair.  Full- and part-time positions are available. In addition to deputies, other jobs that need to be filled are transportation officer, nurse, and dental assistant.

Interested individuals are asked to bring their driver’s license and DMV driving record, their social security card, and proof of high school graduation or GED. Those applying for a deputy job should were comfortable clothes for an agility test, while others should wear business attire.
