Free Mental Health Expo Planned For May 20 In Newport News

NEWPORT NEWS-In commemoration of Mental Health Awareness Month, the Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board will host a free Mental Health Expo on Saturday, May 20, from 10am to 2pm at the Brittingham-Midtown Community Center located at 570 McLawhorne Dr.

The event will provide an opportunity to receive free resources on how to support your mental health, increase your resiliency to thrive, and improve the overall wellbeing of the community. There will also be raffle prizes, food trucks, and informal presentations from community partners. Featured speaker is Laura Stack, founder and CEO of Johnny’s Ambassadors Youth Marijuana Prevention.
