HAMPTON-Peach Rose Waxing Spa officially opened its doors to the public during a grand opening on Wednesday, April 12. It’s located in the Coliseum Square Shopping Center adjacent to Wells Fargo and Boston Market, in the storefront last occupied by Avail Vapor.

Peach Rose Waxing Spa offers several beauty services and spa treatments, including full body waxing; full body sugaring, which offers a more natural approach to waxing that’s more suitable for sensitive skin; lash extension; brow services; facials; and other skincare options.

The spa also carries its own line of natural skin care products, including cleansers, sugar scrubs, toners, moisturizers, body oils, and natural deodorants.

Sierra Portlock, spa director with Peach Rose Waxing Spa, said the shop’s licensed and insured wax technicians specialize in full body waxing and sugaring from head to toe using soft wax, hard wax, and sugar.

“We specialize in all three of the waxes,” said Portlock. “Most places that offer waxing either do sugar, hot wax, or soft wax. The ladies here specialize in all three so that people can get a customized experience with what works best for them.”

Most clients experience minimum discomfort with minor irritation or redness dependent upon skin type. Before the waxing process begins, skin is prepped using natural and PH balanced ingredients to minimize irritation. The shop uses hypoallergenic, cruelty-free, fragrance-free, vegan-friendly hard wax and services clients who are at least 18 years of age.

“The spa is kind of a one-stop shop in self-care because we also offer other services like lash extensions and facials,” said Portlock. The spa’s expert stylists assist clients in selecting styles best suited for the individual’s eye shape and desired look when it comes to lashes and brows. Services include brow shaping and lamination, brow and lash tint and dye, lash lifts, and more.
