WILLIAMSBURG-Williamsburg Community Foundation recently elected four new members to its Board of Trustees.
Reverend Jan Brown is founder and executive director of SpiritWorks Foundation Center for the Soul. Brown is an ordained deacon of the Episcopal Church, Ardeacon of the Dioceses of Southern Virginia and serves at Bruton Parish Church.
Dr. Thomas Cardwell is a retired U.S. Air Force colonel. For 20 years, he worked with Science Applications International Corporation and later co-founded the international technology company PlanIT Group LLC. He currently serves on the Board of Directors as vice president of the German Club and is a board member of the James River Association.
Iris Porush is a financial advisor and partner at Legacy Financial Group. She is a co-founder and past board member of Business Leaders of Williamsburg and has served on the development committee for Literacy for Life.
Scott Stablerretired as the executive vice president and chief transformation officer of Huntington Ingalls Industries in April, 2021. Stabler joined Newport News Shipbuilding in 1984 and held leadership positions in engineering, purchasing, business development and program management. He currently serves on the board of directors for Hospice House of Williamsburg, the N.C. State Engineering Foundation, and Williamsburg Landing.
