Hiring Event For Veterans And Military Personnel Set For March 23

NEWPORT NEWS-The Fort Eustis Army Transition Assistance Program (TAP), Virginia Chamber Foundation and Virginia Department of Veterans Services will co-host a hiring event for veterans, active military members, and their spouses on Thursday, March 23.

Those who attend this HIRE VETS NOW event will have the opportunity to connect with 25 Virginia employers seeking to hire military talent. Participating companies include Canon Virginia, Carmeuse, Carter Machinery Company, Dominion Energy, HII/Newport News Shipbuilding, Serco, R&K Enterprise Solutions, Valkyrie Enterprises, and Wegmans Food Markets.

The event will take place from 11:30am to 1:30pm and include a complimentary lunch buffet. The hiring event will be held at the Fort Eustis Club located at 2123 Pershing Ave.
