YORK-It’s official. The new DQ Grill & Chill located off of George Washington Memorial Highway in the Grafton Shopping Center is open for business. Mid Atlantic Dairy Queen, a Virginia-based DQ franchise, hosted a ribbon cutting Monday, March 20, at its new location in York County, officially opening its doors for business just in time for Free Cone Day.

Chairman Thomas G. Shepperd Jr. and Vice Chairman G. Stephen Roane Jr. with the York County Board of Supervisors and Snap Troeschel, president of the York County Chamber of Commerce, as well as other county officials were in attendance to welcome the DQ crew to York County.
