Lux Events Hosting Taste of New Orleans Festival March 18 In Newport News

NEWPORT NEWS- Lux Events invites the community to experience the food, culture, and entertainment that embodies the spirit of New Orleans. A Taste of New Orleans Festival will be held from 3pm to 9pm Saturday, March 18, at Centura College in Newport News.

The event is designed for all ages. Folks who are looking for fun with a focus on family, are encouraged to join in from 3pm to 5pm for family-focused entertainment and activities, including street performers, stilt walkers, pony rides, face painting, balloon twisting, mask making, games, noisemakers, beads, and more.

The New Local News Model

On July 1, we started a new way to pay for news. Yes, we want you to subscribe, but we know nobody subscribes to every site they visit just because there's a paywall.

So if you don't want to subscribe (even at the low price of $39.99 for a year), you can pay for access to individual articles.
