WILLIAMSBURG – The plan to build a regional sports complex on the Colonial Williamsburg Visitor Center property took two strides forward on March 8 with the authority charged with its development approving a proposed lease agreement for the site and agreeing to award a contract for construction management services.
“We have successfully negotiated draft terms for a lease with the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation for five different development pads,” within the site, said Williamsburg City Manager Andrew Trivette, who chairs the Historic Triangle Recreational Facilities Authority (HTRFA).
