GLOUCESTER – For the husband-and-wife owners of Port Call Tattoo, their second attempt at the business already is off to a better start than the first.
Three months prior to covid, they opened in the octagon building near Mobjack Tavern in Gloucester.
“We hadn’t even gotten up and going enough to support staying alive,” said Laura Walton, who handles the business aspects while Nathan Walton is the artist. “We had to give up our lease because we couldn’t afford to pay the rent.”
However, that didn’t deter them.
