Hampton Committee Searching For ‘Clean and Green’ Business Nominations

HAMPTON—The Hampton Clean & Green Workplaces Committee is looking to recognize local businesses that make an effort to promote sustainability. Awards are given to businesses that promote recycling, tree stewardship, conversation of water and energy, and other everyday practices that exhibit a “clean and green” approach.

Clean & Green workplace qualities include litter-free efforts, attractive premises, contributions to community, recycling and/or waste reduction efforts, trash and ash receptacles, urban forestry and tree stewardship, sustainable landscaped areas, energy conservation practices, heritage preservation, overall impressions of workplaces, and others.
