Shipyard Suppliers is intended to be a series of articles about local businesses that are supplying materials and services to Newport News Shipbuilding to facilitate the construction of next-generation submarines and aircraft carriers supplied to our country’s Navy.

In this third installment, the Peninsula Chronicle caught up with Joe Barto, founder and president of TMG, Inc., a virtual performance improvement and program management company.

The New Local News Model

On July 1, we started a new way to pay for news. Yes, we want you to subscribe, but we know nobody subscribes to every site they visit just because there's a paywall.

This is new for everyone, so we're going to ease you into this. Initially, there won't be many articles that you have to pay for. Short ones will always be free.
