U.S. Congressman Rob Wittman Wins Award For Defending Small Businesses

United States Congressman Rob Wittman, who represents Virginia’s 1st District, recently received the 2022 Defender of Small Business Award from the Job Creators Network.

In a release issued on November 18, Wittman said: “It is the American entrepreneurial spirit, not bureaucrats in Washington, that make our nation an incredible place to live and work. As we have been constantly reminded, especially considering the recent economic challenges, American small businesses are the backbone of our economy.”

Wittman has been serving Virginia’s 1st District since 2007. He recently was re-elected to another term. The 1st District includes portions of the Peninsula including James City County.
