Local Habitat For Humanity Inviting The Public To See 3D Printing Technology In Action

NEWPORT NEWS-The Habitat for Humanity Peninsula & Greater Williamsburg is inviting the public to see its 3D House printer in action at its 3D home construction site on Wednesday, November 9 and Thursday, November 10.

Habitat for Humanity, in collaboration with Newport News Shipbuilding and BayPort Credit Union, is building two new 3D homes in Newport News.

Tours will be conducted at the project site at 651 41 St.

Those who plan to attend are reminded that it is an active construction site, and will need to fill out a liability waiver. Individuals in attendance must wear long pants and closed-toed shoes.
