Tabb Elementary School In York County Named 2022 National Blue Ribbon School

YORK-On September 16, Tabb Elementary School in York County was honored as a 2022 National Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education as an Exemplary High-Performing School. The National Blue Ribbon Schools program recognizes public and private primary and secondary schools for their overall excellence and progress toward closing achievement gaps.

Tabb Elementary School, located at 3711 Big Bethel Rd. in Yorktown, is one of seven schools in Virginia, and one of 297 schools in the nation to be honored this year. Old Donation School in Virginia Beach was also named a National Blue Ribbon School.

This is the second time a York County school has been recognized as a National Blue Ribbon School. Grafton Bethel Elementary School earned the distinction in 2010.
