Jolie Spiers spent her formative years in Hampton Roads. However, after graduating from Kecoughtan High School in 1995, she headed off to the University of Mississippi. She spent more than 15 years in the Magnolia State, followed by nearly ten years in Rochester, NY.
She finally returned to her home away from home in early June when she was named executive director of the Hampton Roads Small Business Development Center and the vice president of small business for the Hampton Roads Chamber.
“I’ve always loved Hampton so much,” she said. “It had felt so much like home to me.”
