Scares That Care Hosting Its 8th Charity Weekend July 29-31 In Williamsburg

WILLIAMSBURG-Horror buffs will be elated to know that the 8th Scares That Care Charity Weekend is right around the corner. This year’s charity weekend will be held Friday, July 29 through Sunday, July 31 at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel Williamsburg.

TV and movie celebrities, authors, vendors, food trucks, entertainment, autographs, photo ops, question and answer panels, a 5k and kid’s fun run are on the docket for a frightfully fun weekend.

Celebrity guest appearances will be made by Danielle Harris, who starred in Halloween 4, Halloween 5, Hatchet II, Hatchet III, and The Last Boy Scout; Kerr Smith of Charmed, Final Destination, and My Bloody Valentine; Danny Pintauro of Cujo and Who’s The Boss; Pruitt Taylor Vince of Identity, Constantine, and The Walking Dead; and more.

Authors in attendance will include Laurel Hightower, author of Below; V. Castro, author of Aliens: Vasquez and Queen of the Cicadas; and Steven l. Shrewsbury, author of Killer of Giants, among others.

Photo opportunities will be offered with various special guests. Musical performances will be performed by Aurelio Voltaire and Karnevil.
