New Senior Living Facility Slated For York County

YORK COUNTY-A senior living facility called Harper’s Station is scheduled to open near the Kiln Creek Shopping Center area in January 2024.

The facility, managed by SRI Management, will be 161,000 square feet and consist of 158 units. There will be options for independent living, assisted living, and for those who need memory care assistance.

SRI is based in Florida and manages more than 30 independent, assisted living communities in five states. The company also is developing a facility in Gainesville, VA.

Don Bishop is the CEO of SR Companies, which owns SRI Management. He said York County is a great location, and the proposed facility is in a fast-growing area, close to big-name retail stores and medical services.

“This beautiful market is a place many seniors currently call or want to call home,” he said. “The addition of Harper’s Station … provides families in this area with a needed option of a higher standard of living and the best in care for their loved ones moving into the next phase of their lives.”

The developer is Sage Development, which is out of Panama City Beach, FL. The company has facilities in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, and Virginia.
