JAMES CITY-A Williamsburg Winery wine recently earned an award in the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition, the largest wine competition in the United States.

On January 18, it was announced that Williamsburg Winery’s 2020 Virginia Viognier was awarded a gold medal in the competition. The wine features flavorings of pineapple, kiwi, and mango along with vanilla, lemon, and honey.

The 22nd Annual San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition was held January 11-14, 2022. The competition only features North American wines.
