Yorktown Chakra Shop Offers Mind, Body, and Soul Energy Healing

YORK-Psychic, Spiritual Healer, and Life Coach Jaclyn Marks opened her first storefront, Chakra Shop, in mid-October 2021 in Yorktown. Located at 7816 George Washington Memorial Highway, it’s nestled between Army Navy Tattoo and York Assembly of God.

Marks offers candles, crystals, herbs, oils, and performs Tarot card readings and chakra balancing. “Chakra balancing is actually based on meditation,” said Marks. She incorporates healing stones and chakra bowls to balance the crown, third eye, throat, heart, solar plexus, sacral, and root chakras. “Chakra bowls are used to heighten the vibration and knock off that heavy feeling, dark feeling, or feelings of being overwhelmed,” said Marks.

Marks said business has been good despite a in lull during the holiday season. While not a substitute for professional medical advice, Marks specializes in energy and spiritual healing. “Whether they’re going through something emotional, something related to work, issues like high blood pressure and stress, people come here to give themselves more balance,” said Marks.

She said her calling to becoming a spiritual healer was ignited during her childhood and describes her talent as a natural-born gift that was nurtured by her grandmother. At the age of 10, she noticed she was connecting on a higher level with the people she encountered during her day-to-day travels. “I began reading their energy and vibes,” said Marks. “It progressed and got stronger over time, especially when I started communicating and helping people.”

Her client base is as diverse as their chakra work and Tarot card questions. “I have a wide range of customers who come to see me,” said Marks. “Mothers, singles, men, lawyers, doctors, life coaches, Reiki healers, military personnel; just a wide range of all different types of people.”

Chakra Shop is open from 9am to 9pm Monday through Sunday. For more information, please call 757-966-8863 or click here to visit their Instagram page.
