Bacchus Wine And Food Festival Returns To Virginia Living Museum

NEWPORT NEWS—Bacchus, the Roman god of agriculture, wine, and fertility, provides the theme for the Seventeenth Annual Bacchus Wine & Food Festival to be held at the Virginia Living Museum on Friday, February 4, 2022. Event goers will enjoy samplings of fine wine, local restaurant fare, a silent auction, and a mix of entertainment as they mingle amongst the museum’s galleries and exhibits.

The Divine Reception kicks the event off from 6pm to 7pm. Tickets to the Divine Reception, which include entrance to the Main Event and VIP parking, are $125 and are available online. The Main Event continues the fun from 7pm to 10pm. Tickets for just the Main Event only are $70 and available online, but prices will increase to $80 on January 31, 2021.

Food will be available from The Grey Goose, The Baker’s Wife Bistro & Bar, Indulge Bakery & Bistro, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Creative Catering of Virginia, Smoke BBQ, Schlesinger’s Steakhouse, Sweet Dream Bakery Bar & Bistro, Mermaid Catering, James River Country Club, and The Bistro at Courtyard Marriott.

Craft beer and cider vendors will include St. George Brewing Company, Sly Clyde Ciderworks, Oozlefinch Beers & Blending, and Tradition Brewing Company.

Silent Auction items will be provided by Indulge Bakery & Bistro, James River Country Club, Sinful Treats, Grey Good, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Blush Aesthetics LLC, Smoke BBQ, Go Ape! Williamsburg, Roll With It Board Game Café, and The Virginia Living Museum.
