Penny and a Sixpence Now Open in Merchants Square

WILLIAMSBURG-Penny and a Sixpence opened in mid-November at 438 Duke of Gloucester St. in Merchants Square.
The new store specializes in Sterling Silver jewelry and other merchandise. Penny and a Sixpence carries a variety of pieces from necklaces to earrings.

Penny and a Sixpence is one of three stores that now occupy the former Williams Sonoma Building. The other two stores will be J. McLaughlin, a fashion retailer, and FatFace, another apparel store.

Penny and a Sixpence is one of several new businesses that have opened or will soon open in Colonial Williamsburg’s Merchants Square. On November 9, Merchants Square announced that the shoe store Sole Provisions will open in early 2022. In addition to retail shops, Colonial Williamsburg also announced that Saladworks is coming to downtown Williamsburg.

Penny and a Sixpence joins another jewelry store that also opened downtown earlier this year. Ryan Eure Designs is located on Prince George Street.
