VLM Will Host A Thanks And Giving Event On November 24

NEWPORT NEWS-The Virginia Living Museum will celebrate Thanks and Giving, an annual event to welcome the holiday season on Wednesday November 24 from 10am to 2pm. A ceremony starting at 11am will feature seasonal activities in collaboration with the City of Newport News and the Virginia Food Bank. The event will also include an opportunity for guests to share their own Thanks and Giving messages, animal enrichment activities, a speech from Newport News Vice Mayor Saundra Cherry, and more. Bring a non-perishable food item for the food bank. Event is included with price of museum admission. The museum will be closed on Thanksgiving Day. For more information, click here.
