NEWPORT NEWS—The Virginia Living Museum is turning 55 on Sunday, November 7, and visitors are getting the gifts. General admission ticket prices will be reduced to $5.50 and include full access to temporary exhibits, the Boardwalk Trail, the Dinosaur Discovery Trail, and all the Indoor Galleries, including the Virginia Coastal Plain, Virginia Piedmont and Mountains, Virginia World of Darkness, and Virginia Underground galleries, as well as the Appalachian Cove and Swamp, and Discovery Centers.
In addition to reduced admission to the VLM, the museum will be adding several Abbitt Planetarium shows. Planetarium shows are $4 each for non-members. To purchase tickets online and to see a full listing of the available shows an showtimes, visit the Birthday Celebration page.
