HAMPTON—Supply chain disruptions caused by the pandemic have created a huge need for big-rig truck drivers. On Saturday, November 6 from 10am to 1pm, Thomas Nelson Community College in Hampton will hold a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) training session at the Peninsula Workforce Development Center located at 600 Butler Farm Road in Hampton.
The information session is free, but advance registration is required. At the session, attendees will learn about TNCC’s CDL program, full- and part-time course options, and how to get a CDL in as little as four weeks. No prior commercial vehicle experience is needed to sign up and applicants may qualify for free training.
To register for the informational session, call 757-825-4070, or visit www.tncc.edu/cdlregistration.
