NEWPORT NEWS-The Virginia Peninsula Chamber of Commerce will present its annual Military Recognition Breakfast on Tuesday, November 9, 2021, from 7:30am to 10am. This event will be held at Holiday Inn, 980 Omni Blvd. in Newport News.

The Chamber invites the public in celebrating active-duty service members from each branch who excel both in their primary military duties and as volunteers in the Peninsula community.

“We owe them a debt of gratitude for their service and personal sacrifices in the defense of our great nation and welcome them as our friends and neighbors,” said Bob McKenna, President of Virginia Peninsula Chamber of Commerce. “This event is intended to offer a small measure of that respect and gratitude.”

Keynote Speaker will be General Mark D. Kelly, Commander, Air Combat Command, Joint Base Langley-Eustis. The presenting sponsor of the military breakfast is ITA International, who shares the Chamber’s commitment to the nation’s military.

Tickets are $35. To register, visit http://www.virginiapeninsulachamber.com/. For more information, contact Elisa Campana at elisa@vpcc.org or 757-325-8162.
