WILLIAMSBURG — The Historic Virginia Land Conservancy invites the public to join them for a free Friends & Family Festival on Sunday, October 24 from 11am to 3pm in the Free Black Settlement Area of Freedom Park on Centerville Road.
The family affair will offer a petting zoo, live music from Hangar 09, educational exhibits, games, door prizes, and memories made with special guest, Bubbles the Clown.
Food and beverages will be available for purchase from Two Drummers Offbeat Eats, Aleworks Brewing Company, and The Williamsburg Winery.
“We’re excited to have this opportunity to keep the community connected in a safe, outdoor environment,” said Historic Virginia Land Conservancy Executive Director Patrice Sadler. “We look forward to sharing our mission of protecting and preserving natural and historic land in the lower James, York and Rappahannock River watersheds.”
The Friends and Family Festival is sponsored by Truist, along with Susan and Tom Chamberlain, Chesapeake Bank, Middle Peninsula Insurance – A Towne Agency, Guernsey-Tingle Architects and Decorating Den Interiors. The event will be held rain or shine.
