WILLIAMSBURG-Visit Williamsburg was recently honored with several awards for a few of its tourism marketing campaigns.
Visit Williamsburg, an affiliation of the Williamsburg Tourism Council, announced on September 22 that it received an eTourism Summit Excellence Award (eTSY) in the category of “Best Content Marketing Program-large budget” for its integrated marketing campaign, “Life. At Your Pace.”
Visit Williamsburg also earned a Commonwealth Award Merit from the Virginia Public Relations Awards in the “Reputation and Brand Marketing” category. In addition, the organization received three other Virginia Public Relations Awards, Capital Award of Merit for The WilliamsBLOG, Capital Award of Merit for Influencer Marketing, and Capital Award of Merit for a National Geographic content partnership.

At Your Pace.’ campaign deployed during the pandemic that showcased Williamsburg as a safe and dynamic destination,” Victoria Cimino, CEO of Visit Williamsburg, said in a release. “Being recognized by the eTourism Summit Excellence Awards and the Virginia Public Relations Awards is a testament to the extraordinary work that the Visit Williamsburg team executes every day.”
Visit Williamsburg launched the $7.6 million multi-channel, integrated marketing strategy last year during the covid-19 pandemic.
