Businesses Wanted For The Great Williamsburg Adventure Race

Sign up here for our free newsletter that tells you about the newest stories, three mornings each week.

WILLIAMSBURG-Those looking for a fun way to get to know Williamsburg and the people and businesses a part of it are invited to participate in The Great Williamsburg Adventure Race, which returns September 23-26.

During the free event, which coincides with College of William & Mary’s Family Weekend programming, local residents and W&M students will have the opportunity to meet with local business owners as they complete a variety of challenges.

The Great Williamsburg Adventure Race is similar to a scavenger hunt, but instead of collecting items, teams are completing activities throughout Williamsburg. Teams of two visit participating businesses over the four-day weekend.

Local businesses within the city of Williamsburg can get involved by hosting a Challenge Station related to their services. Teams may be asked to complete a physical challenge, a puzzle, or another task. For more information on how to get involved with The Great Williamsburg Adventure Race, contact Adam at AVAdventure Productions at
