Colonial Williamsburg Reinstates Indoor Mask Mandate

WILLIAMSBURG-Colonial Williamsburg is once again requiring that all employees, guests, volunteers, and on-site contractors wear face coverings while inside all buildings in the Historic Area regardless of vaccination status.

All guests will also be required to wear masks on all Colonial Williamsburg shuttle buses, in accordance with public transportation policies. Guests are also encouraged to wear masks while visiting Colonial Williamsburg’s outside attractions.

Colonial Williamsburg’s amended face mask policy went into effect September 1.
