Virginia Natural Gas Earns ‘Virginia Top Workplaces’ Award

Virginia Natural Gas (VNG) has been awarded a Top Workplace 2021 honor by The Hampton Roads Top Workplaces by Inside Business. This annual award recognizes companies that go above and beyond to create a positive working environment for their employees. This is accomplished by providing a motivational workplace that makes their lives easier, allows time for fun, supports community involvement and work life balance. This is the second time VNG has been named to the Top Workplace list.

The Top Workplaces list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by employee engagement technology partner Energage LLC. The anonymous survey uniquely measures 15 culture drivers that are critical to the success of any organization, including alignment, execution, and connection, to name a few.

VNG had a 77 percent participation rate from team members, who expressed their overall satisfaction working for the company with safety being the most popular word used to describe the company’s values and culture.
