Governor Ralph Northam Announces Administration Appointments

Several local individuals have recently been appointed to Governor Ralph Northam’s administration.

Among those appointments announced on July 30 include:

Doug DeBerry of Williamsburg, a professor at College of William & Mary, will serve on the Board of Professional Soil Scientists, Wetlands Professionals, and Geologists.

Dr. Elizabeth Lock of Newport News, executive director and associate professor of Kean University, will serve on the Board of Physical Therapy.

Dr. Damodar Ambur of Yorktown, a retired deputy director of aerospace research at NASA Langley Research Center, and Gary R. Artybridge Jr. of Smithfield, manager of Corporate Citizenship and K-12 Education Partnerships for Newport News Shipbuilding, will both serve on the Virginia STEM Education Advisory Board.
