Silver Hand Meadery Plans National Mead Day Celebration

WILLIAMSBURG-In honor of National Mead Day, Silver Hand Meadery is hosting an event that will include new releases, mead slushies, a food truck, and live music.


The event will take place on Saturday, August 7, and feature new releases including Some Like It Hot, made with Appalachian wildflower honey, peaches, and habanero peppers, as well as mead slushies and the NOSH food truck from noon to 7:30pm.


Live music will run from noon until 8:30pm and will include a performance by Silver Hand Meadery owner Glenn Lanvender starting at 4pm with Hugh Spain as a jazz duo.
