The Virginia Beer Company Accepted Into Virginia Economic Development Partnership’s VALET Progam

YORK-The Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP) recently named a Williamsburg company as one of 12 in the state who will participate in the Virginia Leaders in Export Trade (VALET) program.

The Virginia Beer Company has been accepted into the two-year VALET program, a program that helps companies in the commonwealth continue to grow through international exporting.

Nearly 400 Virginia companies have been accepted into the VALET program since it began in 1995.

“The VALET program has a solid track record of helping Virginia businesses increase export sales, contributing to economic growth with jobs and capital investment and ensuring that the commonwealth remains competitive in the global marketplace,” said Stephen Moret, VEDP president and CEO.

The VALET program currently has 48 participants. In addition to The Virginia Beer Company, KRISS USA Inc. from Chesapeake on the Southside was also recently welcomed into the program.
