Literacy For Life Welcomes Six New Board Members


WILLIAMSBURG-Six new community members with expertise in business, health care, and education have been named to the Board of Directors for the Literacy for Life organization for adults.

In May, Literacy for Life welcomed new board members Jane Wilson and Dr. Mihyeon Kim.  Wilson has background in board service, fundraising, development, and marketing while Kim serves as director of the Pre-Collegiate Learner Programs at the Center for Gifted Education at College of William & Mary.

Four more members joined the board in June: Nathan Hale Yowell, Healthcare Administrator at Williamsburg Landing Health and Rehabilitation Center; Dr. Jade Ranger, a pharmacist and co-owner of The Prescription Shoppe; Dr. Karen Swann, principal of Laurel Lane Elementary School in Williamsburg-James City County School Division; and Felix Vlad, a local business owner and fitness instructor.
