American Airlines Adds Nonstop Service Between PHF and PHL

NEWPORT NEWS—American Airlines has announced that it will add two nonstop flights between Newport News/Williamsburg International Airport (PHF) and Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) beginning in June.

Since “The City of Brotherly Love” is a hub for American Airlines, the new flights will truly make Patrick Henry Field—as the Newport News/Williamsburg Airport is also known—an international airfield, connecting passengers through Philadelphia to more than 75 destinations, including direct flights to Europe and the Caribbean.

“American Airlines has been a great partner throughout the pandemic,” said Michael Giardino, Executive Director of the Peninsula Airport Commission. “We are pleased to see this service return.”
