Three Williamsburg-based businesses have been named to the Virginia School Boards Association 2021 Business Honor Roll for their support of the WJCC Schools system over the past year.

Busch Gardens was honored for partnering with the school division to host the 2020 high school graduations, which enabled seniors and their families to have an in-person experience during the height of the covid-19 pandemic.

The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation (CWF) was also recognized for allowing high school seniors to hold a celebratory drive-thru down Duke of Gloucester Street to kick off graduation festivities.

Meanwhile, the Williamsburg Area Restaurant Association (WARA) earned recognition for collaborating with WJCC Schools on an employee appreciation program. The program offers a discount to local restaurants to school employees during their month of hire.
